Gandhi Memorial Hospital Opened a New Service
Gandhi Memorial Hospital has announced that the hospital has opened a unique medical and law service for raped and sexually abused children and women for the first time in Ethiopia. The hospital provided free fee medical and law service support for over 400 raped and sexually abused children and women in the past four months.
The manager of the hospital sister Genet Yayne noted that the hospital has been providing a complete free fee medical examination service for children and women who are raped and sexually abused.
The hospital has afforded services for 407 women, children and youth who are sexually abused since the time of its establishment/may 2012/, she added.
