Land and land case tasks are some of the municipal services which are carried out in the City Government of Addis Ababa Manager Office and these services are provided by four offices. These are Land Administration and Constriction Permit Authority. Land Development and Urban Renewal project Office, Integrated Land Management Information system Project Coordination Office, and Urban Planning and Information Institute.

These four institutions are located at Arada Sub-city wereda one in front of Georgis Church inside Fire and Emergency Prevention and Rescue Building.

Land Administration and Constriction permit Authority has 86 permanent and 46 contract employees. More over, there are 36 permanent and nine contract employees in Land Development and Urban Renewal Office. Integrated Land Management Information System Project Coordination Office has 15 permanent and 44 contract employees. Meanwhile, Urban Planning and Information Institute Office has also 46 permanent and three contract employees.

In the fiscal year of 2010/2011 the budgets of Land Administration Land Administration and Urban Renewal, Integrated Land Management Information System Project Coordination, and Urban Planning and Information Institute were 83,000,571 birr, 143,548,000 birr, 89,063,193 birr, and 15,019,905 birr respectively.

Further more, Land Development and Urban Renewal Office has created job opportunities to youths who are engaged at Small and Micro Enterprises redevelopment tasks. In addition, Urban Planning and Information Institution Office has also created job opportunities in contract bases to over 420 citizens in relation to Information Collection.
