ADDIS ABABA (ENA) August 6, 2007- The Metropolitan Millennium Council announced that it has finalized preparations to launch Addis clean-up camping as of August 6, 2007 in connection with the upcoming Ethiopian Millennium.

Council Director General Kiros Hail-Sillassie told ENA that every resident of the city would participate in the campaign.

The council has created strong working relations with sub-cities, Kebeles, Idirs and other social institutions campaign to effectively conduct.

The campaign would be conducted successively from August 6, to end of November 2007 through public participation.

According to Kiros, the Council would award a sub-city that undertakes the most successful city cleaning activity through mobilizing the public.
