Youth centre inaugurated

ADDIS ABABA (ENA) , December 27, 2007- A multi -propose youth centre constructed in Akaki Kality-Sub city of Addis Ababa City Caretaker Administration at a cost of 1.5 million birr was inaugurated Sunday.

State Minister of youth and Sports, Abdiss Yadeta said on the occasion that youth have been actively taking part in development activities.

The centre, he said , is believed top help youth further develop their ability.

City's culture and information bureau head, Mesgnu Arega on his part said the government has attached due attention to the youth.

Though the government would do its level best to equip the centre, Mesganu called upon NGO's and the public to back the efforts.
